STORY

Onyx Music Publishing is the brainchild of myself and a dear friend, Richard Jackson.  After meeting in the Jubilee Singers and being blessed with our first compositions being published by Dr. Albert J. Mc Neil, we branched out on our own and started Onyx Music Publishing in 1998.

Unfortunately, Richard passed away in 2002 and I have been truly fortunate to keep the vision alive. An Onyx is a beautiful black stone and our vision is to celebrate the creative and beautiful music of the African American community, and composed music to inspire the world.
